Why UN1TE exists

Grassroots music is the heartbeat of culture. It’s where the most original voices come from, where new scenes are born, and where the future of music takes shape. Yet the reality for most early stage, emerging artists is brutal. Gigs don’t pay, opportunities are scarce, and the industry is often more focused on the already-socially-established than the new or undiscovered.

At the same time, brands spend millions every year trying to connect with culture. They sponsor major arenas, show up at leading festivals, and back campaigns that often sit miles away from the artists who need support most.

UN1TE exists to bridge that gap. We bring early stage grassroots artists and forward-thinking brands together, creating a platform that provides education, development and real opportunities for talent at the start of their journey.

Our story

UN1TE was founded by Mitch Strong, also the founder of Pulse Marketing Group, a specialist live entertainment and music marketing agency.

The team at Pulse have spent years helping global brands connect with culture in meaningful ways - delivering measurable campaigns at major festivals, venues, and music events across the world. But along the way, the team kept seeing the same problem: the grassroots level was being left behind.

Local artists, DJs, bands and producers were fighting for scraps of opportunity, while brands struggled to find truly authentic ways to invest in music without being seen as just another major festival sponsor. The answer? Build a platform where brand money doesn’t just advertise culture - it funds it.

UN1TE is that platform.

How UN1TE works

We built UN1TE on four pillars designed to give artists practical tools and visible stages:

  • UN1TE Academy

  • UN1TE Sessions

  • UN1TE Campaigns

  • UN1TE Community

Every element is funded by brands. That’s what makes UN1TE different. Artists never pay to join, and we don’t rely on grants or gatekeepers. Instead, our brand partners underwrite the programmes in return for cultural impact, authentic media, and the chance to help build the future of music.

For artists, that means free access to opportunities, training, and exposure. For brands, it’s a smarter way to invest in culture - moving beyond passive sponsorship and into direct support of grassroots talent.

Let’s look at the bigger picture for a second; UN1TE is a totally new model for how culture and authentic advertising can work together. It’s a space where artists are supported, not exploited. Where brands contribute, not just consume. And where early stage grassroots artists - the lifeblood of live culture - get the stage they deserve. It works, right?.
